National Registry Preparation Course This course is for everyone who is planning on taking the National Registry Exam for Paramedic certification! The Registry Ranger is a paramedic national registry examination test preparation course designed to assist students in preparing for taking the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians Paramedic examination. Topics included: Monday:  Airway and Breathing Tuesday: Cardiology Wednesday: Trauma, Medical Thursday: Obstetrics and Pediatrics Friday: Operations and Review  NO FLUFF, NO B.S.…Just what you need to pass the registry.  Plain and Simple.   Seating is limited, call for more information 800.339.7914 Continuing Education Units Weekend FULLFIL THE NATIONAL REGISTRY 24 HOUR PARAMEDIC REQUIREMENT FULLFIL THE EMT-BASIC RECERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT You will leave tired, but you will leave happy Camp Coronary is scheduled to begin at the conclusion of our popular 48 Hour Paramedic Refresher Course, which runs from 8AM-4PM Monday-Friday. At 5PM on Friday, Camp Coronary activities commence, and continue until 8PM on Sunday. Students may participate in as many or as few of the sessions as they require, from one hour to all thirty-two. Training will include both academic and practical sessions, outdoor and indoor. Be sure to bring changes of clothing and rain gear and expect to get dirty—we play outside rain or shine. If you have protective gear: rescue/rope/wildland/bunny costume, etc., bring it. (No Carny Clowns) Topics will include a wide variety of subjects: cardiac, medical, search and rescue, confined space, trench, wilderness, ropes, rocks, extrication, law, ethics, documentation, trauma, 12-lead, CPAP, capnography, ACLS, history, research, and many more. You may find yourself extricating a trimmer from a tree; preparing a stone worker at the bottom of a quarry for airlift; ventilating a patient in an elevator shaft; searching for a toddler in the woods at night; documenting breaches in standard of care in Mother, Jugs and Speed; developing an employee assistance program for Nicholas Cage in Bringing Out the Dead.  Because of the intensive nature of the program and the large number of instructors involved, we cannot guarantee specific topics, and the schedule is subject to change.  What we can promise you is a challenge.
